UFO BUST! Episode 3 - Debunking Billy Meier's "Pendulum" film

Episode 3 Pendulum It's January 1975 and Billy Meier goes to an undisclosed location to make his very first movie which ended up fooling thousands of people even though it just swings about like a pendulum with specific movements as if someone is controlling it off camera. The method would be the thing to figure out since no one had actually done it so I had a go and it turned out to be pretty easy. It is, however, the hardest film to replicate out of all the Meier films because it is you controlling it all the time and if you get distances slightly wrong or angles you get moaned at. This represents a mornings "work" and was taken at dawn to get the dark skies and match as close as I could to Meier's film for the sake of instant recognition. Unfortunately, being the only place I could find in miles around that had the convenience of being literally round the corner, I was stuck with Oak trees whose lowest branches hung at only 8 feet off the ground and as a result they appea! r in the upper frame of my film. In my opinion it doesn't matter since I cannot create an appropriate location out of thin air! And I can't destroy Oak tree branches in the middle of a park. The height of my swing was about 11 feet since I used a branch about 16 - 17 feet up and you have to account for the height of the small tree which amounts to about 4.5 feet. With the camera not more than 1 foot off the ground on a tripod it looks like we're looking up at the scene giving the false impression of ...

Fish ID Challenge

Short clips of various fish found during a dive on the outter south jetty of Yaquina Bay (Newport, Oregon) on March 11, 2012. 7 fish, mix of sculpins and rockfish. 1 - Buffalo Sculpin. Snubbed nose, a ridge line of rough scales just under the dorsal fin on each side and sometimes a spine is visible pointing back from the gill cover. When the Buffalo Sculpin is being attacked it erects these spines to make a painful meal of itself. With the spines erected up, the snub nose and brown color it looks like a buffalo. 2 - Red Irish Lord. The thick stripe of rough scales is the big tell here. They are like a racetrack up each side and connect in front of the dorsal fin. Then there is the mottled red/grey color, lots o' fins and big head. It is in the sculpin family so big head, big mouth, little body. 3 - juvenile Canary Rockfish. It looks like a young rockfish and the large black spot on the dorsal fin points to it being a young Canary. 4 - Blue Rockfish. Right away it looks like ! a rockfish, but which one? Grey-ish, but lacks the black area under the dorsal fin so it isn't a Black Rockfish. Look closer and see some dark lines slanting back from the eyes like it is crying (it is sad/blue). It is a Blue Rockfish. There is also a flash of the stripes on its forehead, but just a flash in this video. Further, there are two types of Blue Rockfish (is this settled yet?) and this looks like the Blotched-Sided variety (as opposed to the Blue-Sided). 5 - Cabezon. The largest of the ...
